Practice Opening Hours – October 2023
The team at North Coburg Medical Centre aim to provide our patients with high quality medical care.
Due to a shortage of doctors we are experiencing some changes in business hours. Please call the clinic for our current opening hours and be rest assured we are working hard to ensure all our patients can see a doctor as soon as possible.
COVID-19 IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
How are we helping to keep you safe?
1. All staff and patients are required to wear a mask when attending the practice.
2. Telehealth appointments are available – Please contact reception for details (03) 9354 1186.
3. Our staff have daily temperature checks.
4. Our staff disinfect high touch surfaces throughout the day.
5. Social distancing in place.
6. Patients are triaged when making an appointment over the phone and at reception.
If you have respiratory symptoms please advise staff before attending the clinic.

Unacceptable Behaviour Policy
North Coburg Medical Centre has a zero tolerance approach to aggressive, abusive or threatening behaviour towards our doctors, staff and patients.
Anyone behaving in this manner will forfeit their right to attend our practice and may be reported to the Police.
CCTV
CCTV surveillance is in use in public areas of North Coburg Medical Centre. ISE Security manage and monitor our system and all queries or concerns regarding our security system can be directed to the practice manager.
Patients Rights & Responsibilities
Your rights include the following:
- To be treated with respect.
- To be provided with information regarding your medical condition and options regarding treatment, so that you can make informed decisions about your medical care.
- To be given appropriate privacy.
- To expect confidentiality regarding your care.
Your responsibilities include the following.
- To give accurate information regarding your health and current medical problems.
- To be considerate of staff and other patients.
- To provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to keep your appointment.
